Finally got myself a semi decent laptop for work a couple of days ago. An ASUS with i5 processor and 4gb ram, which actually honks along ok with Windows 7 Ultimate. It came with Windows 7 Home Premium with a shit load of bloatware. So I uninstalled it all and chucked Ultimate on. Instantly heaps quicker without all the factory bullshit on it. Basically got it so I can go around Real Estate agencies and show them the www.signsales.com.au software so I can get them on board with me as their photographer. Things should go really well pretty soon. I'm just busy trying to iron out bugs in the software at the moment with the software engineer who has built the program.
My wireless internet USB should be here in a day or 2 and then I can start approaching a few agencies slowly. Don't want to go full on until the bugs are all gone, cos there is still a few which will affect the user in there at the moment.
I managed to get the laptop on a system over here called 'iRent' which basically means I can update my PC every 18 months and right it all of to tax. Pretty sick really. After 6 months of being a good payer, I can start doing the same thing with my cameras too.

Productive it was
Got up, went and dropped the car off to the auto trimmers cos the heat had melted the roof lining off the car. Apparently it's quite common here in Cairns. It cost $220 which wasn't too bad I thought.
Biked home and mowed the lawns, although it completely pissed down just after I started them, so I just continued until I finished them. Cos it was pissing down and I was already wet, I jumped in the pool for a swim and then did a few weights. Then I tidied the house and re-arranged all the kitchen cupboards so I could actually find shit. Then biked back to pick up the car. Come home and bathed the bubba, then pissed off to the supermarket for a few ingredients to make grilled fish and risotto for dinner. Yeah that's pretty much all. Here's a pic of square eyes Jamie over at Mels place the other day.

A Busy Day
I got up at 6:30am today cos Lee had to work early and I looked after Jamie so she could get an extra few mins sleep. Took her to work, drove home and got the bubba fed, watered and off to sleep for a bit. Then off to Mel's so she could look after Jamie while I did a photo shoot of a house in Brinsmead. Then I picked Jamie up, then picked Lee up from work, then went home for a quick swim and couple of toasted sammies, then back to Brinsmead for some twilight shots, then back home to edit the photos so that they are ready for the paper on Wednesday. I have just finished them (it's 10:30pm) and now I can write this. Thursday will be an even longer day I'd say. Anyway if you read all that, then you seriously must have no life. Sorry Leebie! lol 8-),

Hmmm Where Do I Start
It's not easy building one of these blog things. What do I say? Where do I start? Do I just start somewhere? Should I get up and get a beer and think about it? What is a blog really for? When will Jamie wake up? When will Lee get home? What will she bring me from Maccas? aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh one of lifes great mysteries ...... what to do with a blog! ............ I think I will get up and get a beer and think about it.
